our way of working - corporations
Every great headshot starts with a brief. We will take the time to really understand what you are after. What will the images be used for? What values do you want to represent? Are they corporate guidelines that you need to adhere to (this is a must for many multinational organisations - we can work within any guidelines)? What format are the images needed in? When are they needed by? What kind of background do you want to use? It is OK if you don’t have the answers straight away ,we can have a discussion around that.
We’ll then send you a guide on what to expect and what to wear on the day of the shoot just to give you one less thing to worry about and for larger organisations we’d ask if you could schedule a 5-10 minute window for everybody that needs their headshot taken - yes, this can result in us being there for a couple of days, but it’s worth it. On the day we come in about 45 minutes prior to the shoot to set up our equipment, a boardroom is normally perfect for this. Each person would then come to see us in turn, we will take a short while to get to know them and create a relaxed atmosphere and then work through a few different poses and angles until we have the perfect headshot for them. All the while we will show the progress on a screen and use this feedback to perfect our shot just that little bit more. Final images are then selected and it is on to the next person.
Post-production can take a few days during which we will balance colour and exposure as well doing a few natural looking edits - brighten eyes and teeth, remove temporary skin blemishes, that kind of thing. Full retouching is available for an extra charge. Your images are then supplied to you digitally within 3 working days in formats that best suit your needs.
It's a thorough but simple process that we know works. There is no guesswork and there are no surprises … apart from the occasional “OMG, that’s amazing!”

We have a studio set-up in Ryde which is perfect for shooting headshots for individuals and small groups. Our process is nearly identical to that of our headshots for organisations. It begins with a brief, we understand exactly what you are looking for, you come to us, we create a relaxed and fun atmosphere and then we work together to create your perfect headshot. Final edited images for individuals and smaller groups will normally be turned around within 48 hours
